Stewardship

The Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5, 6 and 7, eloquently lays out the ideals of Christian love and humility. In it, Jesus shares with us the Beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer, and so many cornerstone teachings – loving instructions that can bring us peace, if only we attend to them … do not store up treasures on earth … consider the birds in the air and the lilies in the fields … do not worry. Jesus Himself speaks the blessed assurance that God is watching over all who seek Him, and in His words we find the inspiration for our 2012 Stewardship campaign, a call to re-center ourselves, with God as our utmost priority: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33).
We invite you to join us this Stewardship season, as we dedicate ourselves to seeking first God’s will in all that we do.
