With a membership to the Family Life Center, you’ll have access to superior programs, people and classes for a rewarding fitness and recreation experience.

To become a facility member online, click the button below, then select “Become a Member.” Follow our simple step-by-step instructions and then immediately start enjoying your membership. You can also stop by our front desk and complete the membership process in person, no appointment required.

Programs and Activities

The Family Life Center offers an assortment of programs and activities for adults, teens and children.

Note: Every non-member must become a guest of our facility to be eligible to register for any of our programs & activities. Registration for Raise Your Game’s basketball league for boys and girls is completed through their website.

Award-Winning Facilities

Fitness & Weight Room

For muscle strength training, we offer two diverse rooms with weight machines, free weights, TRX ropes, kettlebells and more. We have equipment that includes a full range of free weights, bench press and squat rack for more advanced weight lifting and modern tools for toning and strengthening like resistance bands and a pull up bar. You’ll also find equipment for high intensity interval training such as spin bikes and weighted speed rope.

Group Fitness

Looking for a fun, friendly environment to motivate and challenge you? Our group fitness classes have it all, and for every level—whether you want aqua aerobics, yoga, high intensity, low impact or dance we’ve got the moves that will energize and tone you.

Indoor Track

The indoor walking/running track is 1/9 mile. Lap counters may be checked out at the reception desk.

Cardio Center

Our Cardio Center is fully equipped with treadmills, upright and recumbent stationary bikes, stairmasters, precor elliptical cross-trainers and a Concept II rower.


The Family Life Center has a regulation-size basketball court with adjustable goals and an in-ground volleyball system.

Sauna and Steam Room

Relax in the heat of the sauna or steam room, located in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms.


The Family Life Center swimming pool is 25 yards long 36 laps = 1 mile). The depth is 3 1/2 feet at each end and 5 feet in the middle. The water quality, similar to a mineral spa, is maintained using an innovative saline chlorination system

Personal Trainers

Many of our members have already discovered the benefits of working with a personal trainer. From designing a customized workout plan to providing ongoing motivation and support, our personal trainers are dedicated to helping you achieve your specific fitness goals. Personal trainers are available to assist you in setting up a customized fitness program at your convenience. 

Support Groups


A support group for family members of people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Meetings are the second Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. in FLC Fireside Room. Contact Moira Keller at (404) 605-1950 for more information.

Buckhead Serenity Hour (Nar/Anon Family Group)

A non-denominational, anonymous support group for families and friends of addicts and alcoholics. Meetings are Saturdays at the FLC from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Contact Milli Coleman at (404) 351-1313 for more information.

Mother Talk (through Piedmont Hospital)

For parents of children age 0-6 months (children are welcome). Meetings are the first Thursday of each month from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the FLC. Contact Chris Wagner at (404) 605-3734 for more information.
