Women’s Ministry

At Second-Ponce de Leon, women gather together to help nurture our community and each other in Christ’s love. We seek to foster Christian friendships that will help us support and encourage each other to grow in grace and further the church’s overall ministry which is helping connect people to Christ. We plan a variety of special events and ongoing activities such as Bible studies, mom’s fellowships, socials, retreats, mission & service opportunities, and banquets featuring special speakers to help women enjoy life together, build friendships, and grow spiritually.

NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS FOR WOMEN: “Kindred Hearts” Sunday Mornings at 9:45 a.m.

Can Women Have It All?  with Julie Moran on November 16th

We are pulled in so many directions. Work, family, church, and so much more. How can we find balance? Especially when the bustle of the holidays arrive? Julie Moran, the first female anchor of ABC’s Wide World of Sports and former Entertainment Tonight host tackles this subject with humor, very personal stories, celebrity insight, and revelations from her 2 decade long career in sports and entertainment. This mother of two girls and wife of 30 years found a way to balance it all and concluded…YES, Women can have it all, just maybe not all at the same time!!! Cost: $30. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
