Topic: Prayer to Change our Lives and the Lives of Others

Wednesdays, May 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Led by Dan Hayes, Second-Ponce member and founder of Orchard (formerly Atlanta Community Ministries)

Studying Jesus’ prayers and what He taught about prayer has helped thousands of people deepen both their personal experience of God in their prayers and to find ways their prayers individually and as a group together can impact their church, community and world in larger and even more measurable ways.

Among the subjects included in this study will be the role of Jesus’ prayer life in His larger ministry, the promises of His prayer life, the results of His prayer life, some problems we face in prayer, His teachings on persistence in prayer, ideas on what it means to pray “in His Name”, what His way of prayer teaches us about hindrances to prayer, and specific personal and group application we can make right now to see more lives changed positively and for Christ through prayer.
