New to Second-Ponce

Our Community

Located in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead District, Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church welcomes you to do life with us.

Second-Ponce is a community of Christ-followers from all walks of life who desire a personal relationship with God. As a family, we seek to follow Jesus’ example by offering hope and modeling love. We bring our real selves and try to live life in real community.

As a congregation, we are always happy to have you worship with us on Sundays, but we invite you to come be part of the rest of our life together. Allow this community to celebrate your victories, mourn your losses and care deeply for the life lived in-between.

Life is hard enough, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Join us.

We know Second-Ponce de Leon is a long name. We often use the acronym SPdL to abbreviate our speaking (and we like to talk about our a church a lot!)

SPdL

Pronunciation:  “SPEE-DUHL”

Meaning: A vibrant church family; Traditional worship expressed creatively; A fellowship of believers eager to welcome you.
