About the Series: Hear O Israel: The Shema: In Mark, Jesus quoted the Shema—a central declaration of faith by the ancient Israelites. Discipleship Council members will lead three weeks of exploring the Shema. We'll study its history and context learning how to apply this ancient prayer in our lives as Christians. We'll also examine the rich meaning of key Hebrew words in the verse using a combination of lecture, Bible Project videos and discussion.
Final Topic: Loving with Heart, Soul, and Strength
