Plan a Visit

Welcome!

We’d love to have you as part of the Second-Ponce family. Whether it’s Sunday morning worship, a Tuesday night small group or a Friday night fellowship, let us save you a seat.

On this page, you’ll find information aimed at decreasing the anxiety that can come with visiting a church for the first time. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, send us a note. We’re happy to answer your questions.

Hospitality as Ministry

“We love it when visitors come to church! Welcoming new people, helping them to find their way around and connect with friends is one of my favorite things to do on Sunday.” — Anne Marie Alexander, Second-Ponce greeter

Stop by

2715 Peachtree Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30305

Parking
Second-Ponce has ample free onsite parking. On Sunday mornings, our SPdL Bug (It’s a golf cart; no insects involved.) can take you from your car to the church door.

Where to Enter
From our parking lot, you’ll notice a covered entrance over a round driveway-that’s our Welcome Center. Enter the church there for easy access to the office, children’s area and Sanctuary, and amenities like restrooms, water fountain and elevator.

The Neighborhood

Second-Ponce is located in the heart of Buckhead Atlanta. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping and markets to check out before or after your visit to the church. Use the map to make a plan.

What to Expect

  • How will I find my way around?

On Sundays, just inside the church entrance closest to the parking lot (under the covered walkway) is a Welcome Center staffed with greeters who are eager to help. For weekday or weekend events, we have plenty of signage and our church office staff are happy to help.

  • Are visitors singled out?

We want visitors to feel at ease and welcomed. You won’t be put on the spot or have to wear a name badge. You don’t have to sing along with hymns or give an offering. We hope you’ll participate at your personal level of comfort.

  • What do you have besides worship?

Throughout the week, there are opportunities for children, youth and adults to meet for fun activities and topical small groups. Singles, seniors and women’s fellowships get together each month to hang out and have a great meal. As a church, we go on mission trips and serve our community by pitching in at school fall festivals and hosting city-wide family events.

Connect with Ministry Groups

  • In The Kids Club, children will grow in faith while exploring God’s love. Through Bible study, prayer, worship and service, they will cultivate their understanding of Jesus. Children will seek to give their lives to God while connecting with each other and with various age-groups in the church family. They are encouraged to widely share their God-given gifts.
