Senior Adult Ministry

Growing in faith never stops. Through opportunities for worship, fellowship, service and learning, Second-Ponce senior adults (a.k.a Prime Timers) share the love of God in the prime of their lives.

Our Ministry Approach

Travel together

Day trips are a much-anticipated part of our senior adult ministry. Sojourns to apple orchards, peach farms, local attractions and delicious restaurants are the perfect opportunity to have fun as a group. Transportation to the destination and back to the church is always provided.

Study together

Wednesday evenings, our church family gathers at 5 p.m. for Fellowship Supper followed by a time of adult discipleship called SPdLU (Second-Ponce de Leon University). These topical studies could focus on a Biblical book, theme or character, or a real-world issue. RSVP is required for the meal but not SPdLU.

Fellowship together

If visiting with long-time friends and getting to know new people sound like a good time, then our senior adult socials are for you! These themed events are free of charge with no program or speakers. Join the group for refreshments and fun.

Want to continue to grow in faith?

We would love to help you do that! If you’d like to learn more about the Second-Ponce senior adult ministry, we hope you’ll reach out to Rev. John Uldrick, our Associate Pastor. He’d love to chat.
