Circle Up
Circle Up for Kids, Youth & Families
Sun, Feb. 16 | 5-7 p.m.
Circle Up is a comprehensive ministry curriculum for kids, youth & parents. In addition to age-appropriate programming for children and students, a dedicated parent group will also meet during this time. Circle Up meets the every 1st and 3rd Sunday from 5–7p.m. which includes a snack supper.

Young adults, join us for the CBF Young Adult Summit in Nashville! While there, we’ll dig into the theological theme of God’s promises to us and our promises to each other. Together we’ll tour historic sites, dabble in creative writing and soak up inspiration from city. Our speaker for the weekend is Pastor Scott Claybrook from King’s Cross Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Join the Discipleship Council as we talk about the “Butterfly Effect” and learn how individuals in scripture, our personal lives and history have made seemingly small decisions and actions that have eternal effect for the Kingdom of God.

Join us as we celebrate love and enjoy big band classics from the Whitefield Academy Jazz Band. Come early at 11:30 a.m. to participate in a Valentine's card project for our homebound members and friends. Lunch will be served at noon with program to follow. In partnership with the Atlanta Food Bank and Toco Hills Community Alliance, we're hosting a mobile food bank for the Buckhead area. Folks in need are welcome to pick up FREE and FRESH produce without registration or documentation. Come by car or on foot; ALL ARE WELCOME! We need around 25 volunteers to help make this much-needed opportunity a success for our community. Please reach out to Allie (aosborne@spdl.org) if you're available.

While many hope to learn to be better family, friends, leaders and neighbors by finding a deeper relationship with God, what if becoming a better neighbor leads you to that deeper love of God? How did Jesus teach the Greatest Commandment to His disciples? In his book, “Reckless Love,” author Tom Berlin, through his exploration of Jesus’ teaching and travels with His disciples, suggests that Jesus teaches us how to love God with heart, soul, mind and strength by showing us how to love our neighbor.

Come get updates about finances, our membership rolls project and the pastor search process as well as ministry reports from our various councils and staff.
