Women's Ministry Monthly Fellowship

Children's Ministry Lock-In Retreat

Friday, September 28 (6 p.m.) through Saturday, September 29 (4 p.m.)

Second-Ponce Fellowship Hall

The theme for this retreat will be Narnia Adventure! Come enjoy fellowship, food, fun and games as we explore how a relationship with Jesus is an
adventure that changes our hearts. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall for dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday evening then spend the night at the church. There will be Narnia-themed sleeping rooms for boys and girls. Children only need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, toothbrush and hair brush/comb. Stuffed animals and parent chaperones are also welcome to join us for this special retreat! Sign up to participate or chaperone by emailing Heather Webb at hwebb@spdl.org by September 24.

Topic: The Most Important Thing You Know Very Little About

When we listen to the teaching of Jesus, he says more about one thing than anything else—the Kingdom of God. Many folks who are faithful church members will admit that they don’t know much about it. So . . . let’s do something about that and study the Kingdom of God together. Each Monday in October, Dr. David Hull will teach on this topic.

WMU Luncheon

Tuesday, October 2 in the Fellowship Hall; Meeting at 11 a.m. and lunch to follow at 12 p.m.

Evening Edition Women's Bible Study

Tuesdays beginning October 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the FLC Fireside Room

Attention, ladies ofYou’re invited to join the Evening Edition Women’s Bible Study this fall as we spend eight weeks delving into Beth Moore’s video series on the book of James. The study begins at 6:30 p.m., but you’re welcome to come at 6 and bring your supper to enjoy while visiting with other Evening Edition members. Senior Adult Trip to Jaemor Farms & Dillard House

Tuesdays October 11; depart at 9 a.m. and return at 4 p.m.

$25 (cost includes charter bus and lunch); RSVP requested
