Rooted: The Second-Ponce College Ministry | May Events
Spread the word, Second-Ponce is kick-starting Rooted, a ministry that engages college students in maintaining their connection to God and the church during their college years. Here’s what’s coming up in May:

VBS Volunteer Orientation
Let’s get ready to ROAR about God’s goodness! Volunteers are invited to attend one orientation session in May to help you prepare for your ministry during VBS! Choose the date that works best for your schedule as the content will be the same at all meetings.

SPdL Singles Southern Charm Restaurant Tour
Every other Thursday | April 25–June 7 | 6:30 p.m. | Various locations
Community singles of all ages and backgrounds are invited to eat and fellowship during the SPdL Singles’ Southern Charm Restaurant Tour. Every other week, this group will gather at various acclaimed southern-style eateries in Atlanta for a fun night with delicious food. Mark your calendars with the dates and locations below. Special SPdLU Series: Faith & Science
May 29–June 26 | Fellowship Hall
Does the universe make sense? Do the cosmos have purpose?  Do human beings matter? How do new medical technologies alter our understanding of life & death? Do scientists & people of faith have anything meaningful to say to each other? What does Scripture say about the relationship between faith & science? Join us as we grapple together with the compatibility of faith and science in a new SPdLU series in a combination of guest speakers and small group discussion.

Senior Adult Trip to the Cyclorama
Thursday, June 13 | 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
Join us for a trip to the newly relocated Cyclorama! We will spend time in self-guided tours of the Atlanta History Center, view a presentation of the new Cyclorama and then have lunch at Souper Jenny.
