There are a number of exciting and meaningful events happening at Second-Ponce! Here, you can learn about upcoming opportunities, connect with event coordinators and begin registering.

Families on Mission

Sunday, November 4 at Noon in the Fellowship Hall

Free event; RSVP requested

Enjoy serving together as a family as we seek to share God’s love with our neighbors. We will have lunch as a group and then make hygiene kits for the homeless to support the work of Buckhead Christian Ministries. Lunch will be pizza and salad from Mellow Mushroom for a cost of $2 for children and $4 for adults. Pizza crust/toppings will be ordered to accommodate any allergies or dietary restrictions as needed.

Pray with Orchard

Orchard is kicking off a prayer week (November 5–11) with a flagship luncheon, and you’re invited! Come pray for the needs of our world, our nation, our city, our churches and ourselves. You won’t want to miss this special time of prayer and the chance to discover God in new ways. Lunch is free; however, Orchard requests that you make a reservation to help with their planning. November WMU Meeting

Tuesday, November 6 at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Meeting is free; Lunch is $8/person

Join us for our November WMU gathering! We will do a hands-on project to support the work of Buckhead Christian Ministries by putting together hygiene kits for the homeless. If you can attend the meeting, please also bring a donation of canned goods or non-perishable food items for our group mission project. Women's Ministry Friendsgiving Social

Refuge Fall Retreat

Friday, November 9-Sunday, November 11

For this year’s Youth Fall Retreat, our amazing students will travel to Clayton, Georgia and spend the weekend at the Pinnacle Retreat Center. There will be fishing, hiking, basketball and more! Tailgate at the Shepherd Center

Sunday, November 11; set up begins at 1:30 p.m. and the tailgate kicks off at 2:30 p.m.

Second-Ponce is hosting a football tailgate and cookout at the Shepherd Center. We’ll start prepping for the event at 1:30 p.m. and things will kick off around 2:30 p.m. Come prepare and provide lunch while cheering on the Falcons! Help us support the Shepherd Center with food, company and encouragement! Heroes of Faith Children's Play Date

Saturday, November 17; 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the SPdL 1st floor playground

Bring your family’s team of super heroes for games, crafts, playtime and Bible stories as we learn about some of the “Heroes of the Faith” together.
