Promotion Sunday
Sunday, July 30 | During and After Worship
Join us Sunday, July 30 for a back-to-school celebration! We'll maintain our regular Sunday School routine. Then, in worship, we'll present Bibles and offer a blessing for students, teachers and other school personnel as they embark on a new year. Students are encouraged to bring their backpacks as part of this blessing. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for a potluck, fried chicken lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite side and/or dessert to share. RSVP is not required. Don't miss this encouraging and important Sunday!

Back to School Blessing and Celebration

Join us Sunday, July 31 for a back to school celebration! Children, youth and their families are invited to the Children's Cafe area for a free waffle bar breakfast. After, new youth will be taken to the Youth Area for their Elevation Celebration. Our Second-Ponce Miami mission team returns from their weeklong work with Touching Miami with Love’s after school program. We ask you to pray for safe travels as they journey home and that you continue to remember the children, families and TML staff.

Our Second-Ponce Miami mission team leaves for Touching Miami with Love (TML) Saturday, June 9. Today, we commission this passionate group of servants to do the work of God during their weeklong trip. We ask you to pray for them as well as the children, families and TML staff they'll encounter next week.

Sunday, July 3 will be a special one at Second-Ponce! Instead of meeting separately with our Sunday School classes, we’ll gather as one big group–children through adults–at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall for prayer, breakfast and sign-making for the Peachtree Road Race.
