Inviting Others to Church: Easter Season Events at Second-Ponce
By SPdL Staff

The remaining Easter season events are wonderful opportunities to deepen your personal discipleship and invite others to Second-Ponce! Use this blog as an invitation and send it to everyone in your contacts list-friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, teachers, fellow club members, healthcare providers, the list could go on! There’s a graphic at the bottom of the page that’s just perfect for sharing on your social media and sending via text and/or email. Oh, and make sure these events are on your own calendar also!

"Good Enough": A Churchwide Lenten Book Study
Join us this Lenten season as we explore what it means to live into a faith that is imperfect yet “good enough." There are four ways to engage with our Lenten journey through Good Enough. We encourage you to participate in as many ways as possible, but purchasing the book is not required. Learn more at www.spdl.org/lent.

Community Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 1 | 11 a.m.–1 p.m. | Free and Open to the Public

We're packing this event with lots of food, games, balloon twisting, prize raffles, face painting and crafts. Children will hunt eggs in waves by age group, and there will be a designated "nut-free zone."

Maundy Thursday | Thursday, April 6 | Supper: 5 p.m. | Worship: 6 p.m.
On the menu: Fried chicken, potato salad, vegetable, salad & dessert. After supper, special guests Rev. Dr. David G. Garber, Jr. and Dr. Michelle Brooks Garber of the McAfee School of Theology will lead us through a meaningful worship experience. RSVP is required for supper by Noon, Monday, April 3. NOTE: We will not have Supper or SPdLU on Wed., 4/5.

Community Good Friday Service | Friday, April 7 | Noon | Peachtree Road UMC
All are encouraged to attend this annual Buckhead Good Friday service. Special music begins at 11:45 a.m. followed by worship and a homily from Rev. David F. Richards, III of New Hope A.M.E. church. Parking is available onsite.

Easter | Sunday, April 9 | Sunday School | Worship | Lemonade on the Lawn
We'll begin with Sunday School and small groups at 9:45 a.m. followed by worship at 11 in the Sanctuary. Bring your best blooms as we'll flower the cross prior to the service. At Noon, we'll enjoy Lemonade on the Lawn where you'll have the opportunity to take pictures with the flowered cross.
